I’m a writer, medical consultant, and lifelong student with a deep passion for spirituality, health, and wellness. For over a decade, I’ve explored these areas through personal growth, mentorship, and meaningful connection. Throughout my career, I’ve taken on leadership roles that allowed me to mentor others and support both individual and organizational growth. In 2024, I was honored to receive the prestigious Rep of the Year award—a distinguished, industry-wide recognition presented during Repertoire Magazine’s Distribution Hall of Fame ceremony. Read more here. That recognition reflected not just professional results, but my ability to connect with people in a meaningful way. One of my greatest strengths is simplifying complex ideas—something that allows me to inspire others to take practical steps toward improving their lives.
I was raised in the charming town of Sonoma, nestled in the heart of California wine country. My father, a Texan from a small family, and my mother, a French Canadian and one of sixteen children from a devout Catholic family, gave me two different perspectives of the world. Though I had a happy and stable childhood, I still faced my share of challenges. For much of my adulthood, I unknowingly lived a life out of alignment with my true self. As I approached my 40th birthday, I hit rock bottom—and everything changed. That moment of crisis led me to deeply explore the conditioning that had shaped my identity and behavior. It marked the beginning of a spiritual awakening and a profound reconnection with my soul.
I’m passionate about the outdoors and feel most alive when surrounded by nature. Whether I’m hiking, running, snow skiing, biking, paddleboarding, kayaking, or camping—I’m happiest outside. I also love traveling, reading and writing, and learning and expanding (I’m learning to play the piano again and continue to study French). I’m a social person who enjoys meeting new people and connecting through shared stories and experiences.
My most important job is as a wife and mother. I met my husband in college, and we now have two teenage boys, and a loyal Fox Red Lab named Rubi—my sidekick and adventure buddy who goes just about everywhere with me!
I’ve always been active, but for much of my life, I lacked a true understanding of what it meant to be genuinely healthy. I started running and weightlifting at 16—habits I still maintain—and later added yoga, marathons, and Spartan Races to the mix. Over time, my curiosity about wellness deepened, especially around nutrition. As I made significant lifestyle changes and improved the quality of my food, I experienced more energy, better sleep, reduced stress, and greater mental clarity. The more I learned, the more empowered I felt—especially as I began to understand complex topics like the gut microbiome and immune health. Now, one of the things I’m most passionate about is helping others feel their best and build healthy habits that last.
My education is both formal and grounded in real-world experience. I earned a Bachelor of Science in International Business with a minor in French from Sacramento State University and spent time in Quebec in a French immersion program. Beyond school, my greatest lessons have come through self-study and mentorship. I’ve spent years learning about health, fitness, and spirituality, and have worked closely with incredible teachers like Rosie Acosta—author, globally recognized yoga and meditation teacher, and founder of Radically Loved.
Over the years, people in my community have turned to me for guidance on business, wellness, spirituality, and personal growth. With My Soul Connection, I’m stepping more fully into the role of guide, coach, and mentor. The podcast is just the beginning of this amazing journey.
